End of production for the Lamborghini Gallardo

In the historic factory buildings of Sant’Agata Bolognese, the last Lamborghini Gallardo has left the production line. The final model is a Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante in Rosso Mars (red) and it is destined for a private collector. With a total of 14,022 units the Gallardo is not only by far the most-built Lamborghini, it ranks among the most successful super sports cars — and has long since established itself as an icon of Italian design and the art of automotive engineering. A.R.E. Project Vehicle Wins Two GM Design Awards At SEMA

MASSILLON, Ohio – A.R.E. garnered two GM Design Awards for its customized Wounded Warrior Project(r) 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, which debuted at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. UPS Announces Winner of “Ride Your Hauler to SEMA” Contest

Just in time for the 2013 SEMA Show, UPS announced the winner of its “Ride Your Hauler to SEMA” Contest. The contest, in its first year, was designed to celebrate the creative talent among the automotive specialty aftermarket. Jeb Greenstone, president, designer and lead fabricator of Cutworm Specialties won the competition. Cutworm Specialties, based in Hayesville, NC, is a custom hot rod builder. Greenstone’s winning entry is a “Dually Hauler” built by his company for Joe Kral Minneapolis, MN. [Read more…]
