Supercharged Model A wins Goodguys 2014 Tank’s Hot Rod of the Year Award

Indianapolis, IN – Tony Lombardi’s supercharged 1930 Model A Ford from Niles, Ohio won the Goodguys 2014 Tank’s Hot Rod of the Year award last weekend at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The criteria is unique in that it’s the only major Goodguys Top 12 award which requires participants to drive on a 100-mile reliability run as well as an 1/8th mile blast down the drag strip. UPS Announces Winner of “Ride Your Hauler to SEMA” Contest

Just in time for the 2013 SEMA Show, UPS announced the winner of its “Ride Your Hauler to SEMA” Contest. The contest, in its first year, was designed to celebrate the creative talent among the automotive specialty aftermarket. Jeb Greenstone, president, designer and lead fabricator of Cutworm Specialties won the competition. Cutworm Specialties, based in Hayesville, NC, is a custom hot rod builder. Greenstone’s winning entry is a “Dually Hauler” built by his company for Joe Kral Minneapolis, MN. [Read more…]
